Meineke Car Care Bowl Betting Matchup

Organizers hope they can secure teams with better records than the 6-5 NC State Wolf Pack and South Florida Bulls who played in the 2005 Meineke Car Care Bowl.

The fourth-place team in the ACC will play either Navy or a Big East school in the 2006 edition of the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

The Bulls, making their bowl debut, lost their last two games to fall to 6-5, but their season was highlighted by a shocking 45-14 upset win over a heavily favored Louisville Cardinals' team that was expected to win the Big East.

With a 6-5 record, the Wolf Pack were fortunate to get a bowl bid, needing to win their final two games. Despite the disappointing season, defensive ends Mario Williams and Manny Lawson got to showcase their prodigious talents in advance of the NFL draft, where Williams was taken first overall by Houston.
