Peach Bowl Betting Matchup
Hopefully there is more fight on the field and less off it in the 2006 Peach Bowl.
LSU destroyed Miami 40-3 in the most one-sided decision in Peach Bowl history. Then, players exchanged punches in the tunnel leading from the field after the game was over.
The 2006 edition will feature the ACC’s No. 2 school and the top-performing school from the SEC. It had the potential last season to be a great game, with a pair of angry Top 10 schools that had blown BCS opportunities with late-season losses.
The Hurricanes (9-2) had all the momentum after beating Virginia Tech on Nov. 5, but an upset loss at home against Georgia Tech two weeks later killed any chance of playing in the ACC title game.
The Tigers (10-2) managed to advance to the SEC Championship game but were humbled 34-14 by Georgia. Both teams boasted strong defenses but the Tigers, who were led by defensive tackles Claude Wroten and Kyle Williams, had one of the best front fours in the nation.

History of the Peach Bowl
Since 1993, the Peach Bowl has featured teams from the NCAA's Southeastern and Atlantic Coast conferences.
With Chick-fil-A's sponsorship in 1997, the game became officially known as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
Last year’s Peach Bowl was the most lopsided game in the bowl’s history, despite being a quality matchup of Top 10 rated schools. LSU pounded Miami 40-3, and the only real fighting happened after the game when players exchanged punches in the tunnel leading to the dressing rooms.
