NFL Betting Power Rankings: Week 2
by Bodog Sportsbook | Sep 12 2007
Some thoughts from week 1? Steven Jackson is terrible, Chris Brown is Pro Bowl bound, the Saints are back to the bottom and the Houston Texans are a Super Bowl contender.
The Top Four
Indianapolis Colts (1-0-0)
The game plan when facing the Colts has always been run, use the clock and keep Manning off the field. But on Thursday, they were consistently forcing the New Orleans offense back to the sidelines.
San Diego Chargers (1-0-0)
The Chargers had a tough task with the Chicago Bears, one of the league's toughest defenses. They stepped up. The fact they were able to take out the Bears despite Tomlinson rushing for 25 yards is impressive.
Dallas Cowboys (1-0-0)
Maybe Owens wasn't lying when he sent his "I'm a fantasy football god" letter to ESPN. The Cowboys went over the total scoring 45 points and covering the -6.5 points.
New England Patriots (1-0-0)
How good would the Patriots' offense be if Tom Brady had a target like Randy Moss? That question was answered in Sunday's 38-14 blowout of the Jets. Now it looks like we have to ask what the Patriots will play like without stealing offensive and defensive signals.
