NCAA Basketball Betting Top 25 - Texas A&M Aggies

We are bringing you a preview of the top 25 College basketball teams in the nation (according to the current ESPN/USA Today Poll), one a day until Selection Sunday.  Today we look at the current No. 22, the Texas A&M Aggies.

Strengths: Regardless of recent results the Aggies are a talented rebounding and defensive team. DeAndre Jordan is a legitimate 7-footer with great athleticism for a big man. Given another year in college, Jordan should be a top five draft pick in 2009.

Weaknesses: The team grows complacent after winning a few in a row. They just can’t keep the intensity up over the long haul, dropping winnable games because of lack of effort.  Without intensity, the defense and rebounding - supposedly their strength - suffer.

Summary: The Aggies need some big wins to close out the season; they’ve had good stretches but nothing that would convince the selection committee into giving Texas A&M a higher seed in the tournament.
