NFL Odds and NBA Betting on Games of the Week for November 7, 2007

The Colts probably played their toughest opponent of the year last weekend, but their troubles are far from over. Indianapolis plays San Diego on Sunday Night Football, a team that’s looking for revenge after being embarrassed by a record-breaking rushing performance by rookie Adrian Peterson.
Despite covering the spread versus the Patriots in Week 9, the Colts seemed to lack explosiveness on offense without Marvin Harrison. They'll be hoping the eight-time Pro-Bowler can return against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, painful knee or not.
On Monday, two disappointing teams from the NFC West face off. As Shaun Alexander declines, so do the Seahawks; however, they are still playing better football than the San Francisco 49ers. Once thought of as playoff contenders in the preseason, the Niners have been able to put up just 13 points per game this year.
How bad can it get for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish? They've already lost to Navy 46-44 despite being 3.5-point favorites and now they are +3 underdogs at home versus Air Force. You can point the finger at the offense for the bulk of their issues this year. They rank 119 out of 119 Div. I schools in total yards per game.
In the SEC the No. 24 Tennessee Volunteers control their own destiny. If they can win the last three games of their season they'll clinch the SEC East title. However, this week they'll be facing Heisman candidate and likely top five draft pick Darren McFadden and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Despite being at home, the Volunteers are only a PICK for the contest.
As usual, TNT is bringing the best NBA action Thursday night.
First up, the Chicago Bulls look to rebound from an 0-4 start and defeat East Coast contenders the Detroit Pistons. As usual, the Pistons have had steady production from their offense and defense and have started the year 3-0 and 2-1 against the spread.
In the second matchup the Dallas Mavericks get to face the squad that knocked them out of the 2006-07 NBA playoffs – the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have had a rough start as well - they’re 0-4 on the season straight up and ATS.
