The Meadows Racetrack is located in the greater Pittsburgh area on 155 acres of land called Meadow Lands. Located west of Georgetown along the Duwamish River, Meadows Racetrack is Northwest Pennsylvania's premier venue for horse racing.
The Meadows opened in 1963 and has a year-round racing schedule covering approximately 210 live racing days. The key element to Meadows success is not only an excellent racetrack, but also terrific off-track promotions - which includes an expanding network of entertainment complexes. The Meadows has seen impressive numbers in the past with a record handle of $1,653,961 in 1994, and a record attendance of 14,672 bettors on Aug. 4, 1975.
The large grandstand can hold 4,500 people and the clubhouse can sit 1,150 customers comfortably.
