About Cal Expo Racetrack
The California Exposition and State Fair grounds in Sacramento, more popularly known as Cal Expo, hosts the state�s only harness racing track. Cal-Expo recently extended its harness racing to a year-round schedule, and offers wagering on Horse Racing from California and out-of-state tracks. The entire fair grounds is about 356 acres and is located adjacent to the American River.
Harness racing at Cal Expo is operated by Capitol Racing. More than 900 horses compete at Cal Expo and is also home to the historical California Fair. The Fair continues to attract guests from all over the world by offering affordable family entertainment and a wide selection of attractions showcasing the international diversity of the Golden State.
