Kicked off his three-year-old campaign by winning the $150,000 Sam F. Davis Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs by 2 3/4 lengths, but Street Sense defeated him by a nose in the $300,000 Tampa Bay Derby (G3) on March 17. Finished behind Nobiz Like Shobiz and Sightseeing in the $750,000 Wood Memorial Stakes (G3) at Aqueduct on April 7.
