Trainer Doug O'Neill's Liquidity finished ninth in the $400,000 Champagne Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park last year but was third in the $100,000 Real Quiet Stakes at Hollywood Park and second in the $250,000 Hollywood Futurity (G1).

Was a close second in the $100,000 Sham Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita Park in his first start of 2007, a length behind winner Ravel. However, on March 10 he finished sixth in the $600,000 Louisiana Derby (G2) at the Fair Grounds, nearly eight lengths behind winner Circular Quay. Finished fourth in the $750,000 Santa Anita Derby (G1) on April 7.

With graded earnings of $161,200, Liquidity is 17th on the graded earnings list for Derby contenders. As all of the graded stakes races preceding the Derby have now been run, he can't be bumped further down or off the list.
