With Ricky Williams' surprise departure from the Dolphins during training camp, the team has been left with a void for the starting Running Back position.

With three seasons under his belt as the back-up to Ricky Williams, Travis Minor is listed as the odds on favorite to become the leading rusher for the Dolphins. Minor is listed at 9/5 odds. Rumors abound that James Jackson will become a Dolphin this season, and should he land in Miami, his odds are listed at 5/2. After 4 seasons with the AFC East rival Buffalo Bills, Sammy Morris found a new home in Miami during the off-season. The odds for Morris to lead the Dolphins in rushing is set at 5/1 odds. The long shot option for this wager has newly acquired back-up Quarterback A.J. Feeley, listed at 50/1 odds.

“If they can pick up Jackson from the Browns, they will have a proven back that can get the job done for them,” said Gillespie. “If they don’t land Jackson, A.J. Feeley may become the odds on favorite to be the rushing leader.”
