Bronson Arroyo tossed six scoreless innings as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Washington Nationals 3-0 Friday afternoon at Great American Ball Park.
Cincinnati won the game as -150 favorites, while the three runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Ken Griffey Jr. cracked a two-run dinger to lift the Reds. Arroyo got his sixth win and Francisco Cordero notched his 17th save.
Dmitri Young went 2-for-2 at the plate for the Nationals. Jason Bergmann gave up three runs off six hits over six innings of work.
