The Seattle Mariners got past the Texas Rangers 4-3 in 12 innings Wednesday to avoid a three-game sweep.
Seattle won the game as +110 underdogs, and the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (10).
Miguel Cairo drove in the winning run, and Jeff Clement had two hits and one RBI for the Mariners. J.J. Putz picked up his first win of the season, and Jarrod Washburn secured the victory with his first save.
David Murphy had four hits and drove in a run for the Rangers. Franklyn German surrendered the winning run to suffer the loss. |
