Royals blank Tigers

Joey Gathright drove in both runs to give the Kansas City Royals a 2-0 win over the Detroit Tigers Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium.

Kansas City won the game as +125 underdogs, while the two runs fell well UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Luke Hochevar allowed just four hits over six innings in the win, and Joakim Soria closed out the game with his 10th save.
