Jay Payton belted a grand slam to lift the Baltimore Orioles to a 6-3 win over the Boston Red Sox Wednesday afternoon and swept the two-game set at Camden Yards.
Baltimore won the game as +115 underdogs, and the nine runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (9).
Payton finished with five RBIs to lead the Orioles. Daniel Cabrera improved to 4-1 with the win, allowing three runs off 10 hits over seven innings.
Mike Lowell had two hits, including a solo home run for the Red Sox. Craig Hansen gave up two runs in relief and was tagged with the loss. |
