Jose Lopez hit a two-run double, and Raul Ibanez went deep for the Mariners. Erik Bedard allowed one run over five innings for the win, while striking out six.
Miguel Cabrera went 2-for-4 and drove in the lone run for the Tigers. Kenny Rogers gave up four runs off six hits over 7 2-3 innings in the loss.
